Milan Street Fashion
Gucci isn’t showing in Milan this week, but we have a feeling you’ll still see a lot of double-G logos, rhinestone accessories, and red-and-green stripes out on the streets (and maybe a few Gucci x Dapper Dan pieces, too). Phil Oh is on the ground shooting all of the best looks outside the biggest Milan shows, starting with Jil Sander, Alberta Ferretti, and Moncler—if only it was cold enough to wear Pierpaolo Piccioli’s floor-length Moncler puffer from last season! It definitely still feels like summer in Milan, but as the weather cools down here in New York, you can look to Oh’s photos for next year’s style inspiration. Scroll through all of his latest photos here, and check back all week for his daily updates.
Men Under Spotlight
As of today, Milan Men’s Fashion Week has come to a close, but with seriously compelling runway moments from Italian houses such as Prada and Fendi, there were plenty of great looks to be inspired by in the months ahead—and that goes for the ladies as well as the gents. The same can be said of the clothes worn outside the shows: This season’s street style was particularly awesome. There were striking long leather trenchcoats paired with Nike Air Max kicks and chain wallets, light denim suits with crisp white shoes, and rainbow sweaters with bomber jackets and workman boots.
As the Spring 2019 collections hit the runways, we've got our eye on all the hottest shoes walking the walk. Accessory fiend or not, these shoes are guaranteed to capture your attention–and give you a sneak-peek at next season's emerging trends. Check back as we spotlight our favorites in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.
"One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a little black dress", said Karl Lagerfeld. There are few styles that remain forever in the fashion trend cycles and become a staple among the fashion forwards. These classic styles never go out of fashion and are time and again showcased by designers at the runway. The Little Black Dress (LBD) is one such thing that has survived innumerable fashion fads and trends to become a quintessential statement piece in every woman's wardrobe. Inspired with Lagerfelds famous saying, the brand new Muse collection offers not only little black dresses, but also white ones and not only dresses!
